MQ STATEMENT ON COVID-19 POLICY
Minnesota Quilters is committed to the healthand safety of our members, volunteers, vendors, faculty, and other contacts. We are closely monitoring developments of the Covid-19 virus, and are assessing the situation with regard to events that are in various stages of planning.We are regularly evaluating the rapidly evolving situation and are committed tonotifying our Members and Registrants of allchanges in our plans in a timely manner. Check here for additional information andupdates.
We urge everyoneto follow the current CDC guidelines regarding how we can help each other which include:
· Washing hands thoroughly and often with soap and water
· Covering coughs and sneezes, and disposingof used tissues immediately
· Frequently cleaning high-touch surfaces such as cell phones
· Staying home if you are sick with anything communicable

We do, however, look forward to holding the quilt show and conference at the DECC in Duluth on June 9-12, 2021. Please mark your calendars now. Lodging announcements will be coming out later this spring.
Registrant Fees: All show registration and quilt entry fees already paid will be refunded to you by June 15 via method of your original payment.Please wait until after June 15 to contact us as we will be working as fast as we can to process refunds to hundreds of people and organizations. (Please note that donations and membership fees are non-refundable.) We appreciate your patience with this process.
While we feel this is something we must do to protect the health of our community, it is also a great financial setback for the organization. Quilting is in our DNA and we will continue to look for ways in which we can foster this fulfilling art form for all of you. We will be sending out more details in the coming weeks and months as time and social distancing allow regarding future classes, mystery quilts, quilt donations, and quilt exhibitions. Lastly, but most importantly, THANK YOU ALL for supporting and encouraging us throughout this unusual pandemic as well as throughout the years.
